You can perform a quick reset of your Secretlab MAGNUS Pro by pressing and holding the “Down” button until “RST” is displayed on the digital panel and a beep is heard.
If your standing desk remains unresponsive, please disconnect it from power and allow the Control Box to rest for at least 10 seconds, before reconnecting it to power.
Do also check that the Control Box is securely attached to the metal desk top, all cables are properly connected and there are no obstructions which may trigger the anti-collision system.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue or there is a specific error code showing in the digital panel, please refer to our troubleshooting guide. Should your issue persist, please get in touch with our support team.
No, you do not have to use the Secretlab MAGPAD™ with the Secretlab MAGNUS. However, we strongly recommend doing so to protect your desk’s surface. In addition, the plush leatherette delivers a more comfortable feel under the skin compared to steel.
We encourage you to check out the Secretlab MAGNUS Single/Dual Monitor Arm , specially designed for Secretlab MAGNUS Pro and Pro XL desks. Each Secretlab MAGNUS Monitor Arm supports up to 8kg (17.6lbs).
- 5-year warranty on use as a desk. Aesthetics, misuse and normal wear and tear are excluded.
- 2-year warranty on the electrical control panel and control box of the Secretlab MAGNUS Pro.
- Submit a warranty claim via our Contact Form with image/video attachments of relevant affected area(s).
- Secretlab has the final right to decide if a claim under the warranty is valid.

I don't think this is a 4 or 5 star review... more like a 4.8. I really love the XL desk, it has plenty of space and being a solid metal design makes it extremely sturdy and looks fantastic with the magnietic desktop cover. One issue I had was of course the weight... don't try and take this beast up a flight of stairs on your own! The reason I have deducted a couple of decimal points is the LED strip. When trying to fit that strip when you have the optional monitor arms attached, the LED strip has to bend around the underside of the monitor arm clamp. It would be much cleaner if this was considered in the initial design and the LED strip had a single dedicated surface that is not interupted by the Monitor arms. It does not cause any issue, I doubt I would even notice it, but it was a little bit of an inconvenience when setting up the desk. For that reason, I've marked 5 stars rather than down to 4!
